  • Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Championship Tournament
  • 2013, and 2014 Championship tournament will be held at tje PA Farm Show Complex & Weis Markets Expo Center, Harrisburg, PA
  • The tournament is run on behalf of Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling by Wrestle for a Cure, Inc., a non-profit corporation founded to organize, promote and operate Folkstyle, Freestyle and Greco Roman wrestling tournaments and events for the benefit of charity.  

Wrestling Schedule

  • Weigh-ins - Thursday March 21, 2013 from 4:00PM until 11:00PM, PA Farm Show Complex & Expo Center, Harrisburg, Pa
  • Wrestling begins at 9:00AM on Friday March 22rd - Doors Open 8:00AM
  • Wrestling begins at 9:00AM on Saturday March 23rd - Doors Open 8:00AM
  • Championship finals begin at 3:00PM on Saturday March 23rd - Doors Open 2:00PM

Event

  • The 2013 tournament marks the 51st anniversary of the Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling state championships
  • Multiple day event held Friday - Saturday, March 22-23, 2013
  • 1,166 wrestlers age 14 and under representing Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling Areas I - XI
  • Wrestlers qualify for this tournament by placing in the top two in their respective Area Championships
  • Wrestlers compete for the title of Pennsylvania Junior Wrestling State Champion in 53 age / weight class classifications
